Duck Creative Co. is a creative studio offering photo and video content creation alongside strategic social media support. The studio works with brands to plan, produce, and deliver content that feels considered, cohesive, and easy to use across platforms.

Alex Ellis is the founder and creative director of Duck Creative Co., a creative studio helping small businesses bring their stories to life through photo, video, and social content. With experience across tourism, marketing agencies, and freelance creative work, Alex has spent years learning how to translate brand vision into visuals that feel cohesive, intentional, and authentic.

Through Duck Creative Co., Alex partners with restaurants, shops, salons, florists, and commercial real estate businesses, blending strategy, design, and storytelling to craft content that looks effortless but is thoughtfully considered. Known for a detail-oriented approach and a curiosity for the stories behind each brand, Alex focuses on creating content and social presence that is both sustainable and elevated, helping brands show up consistently, clearly, and confidently online.

Showcasing work where creativity meets results, from concept to content that drives impact.

Collaborated with Cathead Distillery to produce a full day of photo and video content aimed at boosting social media engagement and increasing tour visits. I captured the distillery’s atmosphere, behind-the-scenes moments, and signature products, delivering polished visuals edited specifically for Reels and social platforms to highlight the brand’s unique personality and draw in visitors.

Worked with On Trend/Pearl by Lela Rose to manage and grow their social media presence, including planning the content calendar, creating graphics, producing Reels, and executing email marketing campaigns. Photography was provided by corporate, and I focused on translating their visuals into engaging, on-brand digital content that drives audience engagement and sales.

Worked with Claire Thompson Design on a content day to capture a variety of visuals for social media. I produced multiple Reels, delivered all edited video clips, and captured select photographs, providing versatile content that could be mixed and reused to showcase her interior design work and engage her audience.
